A cookie pizza is exactly what it sounds like - a giant cookie made in a pizza pan topped with your favorite candies! The "crust" is a simple sugar cookie dough, the "sauce" is a fudge sundae sauce (trust me - it's delicious on cookies too!) and the "toppings" can be whatever you choose from your stash of Halloween candies. I did a wide assortment so that every bite has something different but you can customize with your favorites!
This is the ultimate indulgence that everyone should get to try at least once! The candies you choose to use will greatly affect the flavor, I tried to use a little bit of all my favorites so that the taste would have a little something of everything. It's like a sugar cookie topped with chocolates; AKA absolutely sinfully amazing!
The ingredients are the same as what you would need for basic sugar cookies, plus a few special additions:
This is so simple and fun to make you may want to make it year-round and not just on Halloween!
step one: in a small bowl, stir together
step two: cream together butter and sugar until well combined
step three: add egg, milk and vanilla to butter mixture and beat well, until light and fluffy
step four: stir in flour in 2-3 smaller additions until fully mixed in
step five: flatten cookie dough into a parchment lined 12" pizza pan as evenly as possible, then bake for 10 minutes, or until the cookie dough is puffed and starting to turn golden
step six: while the cookie dough "crust" is baking, unwrap the Halloween candies and chop them into smaller pieces (M&Ms and reese's pieces can stay whole)
step seven: spread the fudge sauce over the cooked cookie "crust", then top with the chopped candies
step eight: return the pizza to the oven and cook an additional 6-8 minutes, or until the fudge sauce is bubbling and the candies have melted slightly
step nine: allow to cool at least 30 minutes, then slice and enjoy! (you can top with some chocolate or caramel syrup if desired)
Yes! I always make my cookies from scratch because I do so much baking and always have the ingredients handy, but if you're in a hurry then some store bought cookie dough will definitely work, and it makes this a 3-ingredient recipe! Just follow the same cookie instructions and you can have a cookie pizza made in less than 20 minutes!
Your favorites! If you want one like what I have shown then you'll need M&Ms, reese's pieces, twix, hershey's cookies and creme, hershey's milk chocolate, mars bars, and snickers. I am dying to try one with kit-kats, rolo, and peanut butter cups though so if you have those leftover this year please try it and let me know!!

Preheat oven to 350 F, line a 12" pizza pan with parchment paper and set aside
In a small bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar, then add egg, vanilla and milk and beat until light and fluffy
Add the flour to the butter mixture in 2-3 smaller additions, stirring until completely combined
Flatten the cookie dough into the prepared pan, then cook in preheated oven 10 minutes, or until cookie "crust" is puffed and slightly golden along the edges. While it bakes, chop the Halloween candies into smaller pieces
Top the cookie dough crust with the fudge sauce, followed by the chopped candies and return to the oven for about 6-8 minutes, or until sauce is bubbly and chocolates have melted slightly
Allow to cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing and serving. Serve with some chocolate or caramel sauce if desired
